MySoccerOffice.com / Internet Explorer issue
If you are using IE (Internet Explorer) you will find that MySoccerOffice.com does not work.
There is a fatal flaw in the code and it fails. It runs fine under Firefox. (Shelley's note: It also runs fine under Netscape Navigator.)
When I talked to the folks at mySoccerOffice.com they said:
Hello,
The system is built on web standards, therefore IE will not work. You need to use Firefox.
We have in plan to optimize it for IE also, but at the moment we did not have the spare time to do it.
I then talked to EMSA and the response was:
Go to your internet home page whatever that may be (google, etc…)
Type in firefox.com
Download firefox by following the instructions.
Once you are in Firefox and it is downloaded, type in the following: http://emsa.mysocceroffice.com
You should then see a screen with two options: Zone Administrator or Club Administrator.
You are considered a Club Administrator so double click on this.
Enter your user name and password that has been assigned to you by your Zone Administrator.
You should now be able to access the system for your zone. Your Zone Administrator has created Divisions for your zone and under those divisions they should have created teams for you as well. Click on the team you are wishing to make a roster for and then search for players currently in the system. If the search comes up blank, click on Add Individual and proceed to add the new players to that team.
I hope this helps and is clear, but if you have questions, please feel free to call me.
Thanks
Michael
