Job Title: Soccer Director
Describe the expected results: Promote community soccer. Assist community members in enrolling children to play soccer.
What is the most difficult/demanding part of this job? This position has a concentrated time commitment at registration. Outdoor: February, March, April. Indoor: September
The qualifications and/or training that is required for this job: Attends to details, punctual, approachable, organized, good networking skills.
1. Responsibility: Attend Meetings Approx. % of time: 4 hours per month
- Attend ESESA meetings (Top priority)
- Attend Community meetings
- Attend EMSA AGM
- Attend ESSEA Planning Meeting (Compulsory)
2. Responsibility: Recruitment Approx. % of time: 90 hours
- Coaches – Require good networking skills
- Registrar – Requires organizational and financial skills
- Field Lining – Needs to know how to order machine knowing the field sizes
- Referee Coordinator – Requires knowledge of soccer game
- Volunteer Coordinator – Oversees coordinators
3. Responsibility: Team Formation/Budget Tracking Approx. % of time: 10 hours
- Compile Teams
- Input Teams - Instructions on MSO and data entry skills
- Track Bills to Communities
- Track a budget
- Attend a meeting to form teams
